The phoenix is a bird, which at the end of its life, builds a nest which ignites and burns the bird and nest to ash. A young phoenix arises from the ashes, born anew to live again.

Phoenix Glassworks represents a new start, a new life for me, having lived through the flames of an unhappy marriage and a stressful corporate life. I am now happily divorced, found the Love of my Life, is enrolled in yoga teacher training, and has started a new career doing what I love. The flames associated with the Phoenix are also a nod to the flames of the torch used in making glass beads.
